Clarity. Systems. Traction.

You might be here because you are…

Exploring AI

Every week brings another tool and another promise. Before changing how your business works, you want an experienced, independent perspective on what belongs in your business—and what can wait.

Modernizing older systems

Your technology still works, but it's slowing the business down. You want to simplify what's become complicated and improve how it runs, without replacing what still works.

Making an important technology decision

You're considering new software, AI, automation, or a major systems investment and want an experienced, independent perspective before committing time, money, and resources.

Responsible for technology, but it isn't your full-time job

Technology decisions have landed on your desk. You want a trusted advisor to help you evaluate options, reduce risk, and make informed decisions.

Things I can help with:

Strategy & Technology Decisions

  • Make confident decisions about software, AI, and technology investments.
  • Get an independent perspective before committing time, money, or resources.
  • Build a practical roadmap that supports where the business is going.

Systems, Automation & AI

  • Simplify the way work gets done by improving processes, reducing manual effort, and connecting the right tools.
  • Turn scattered information into organized systems that are easier to manage and scale.
  • Apply automation and AI where they create measurable value—not just because they're new.

Custom Solutions

  • Create technology that fits the way your business actually operates.
  • Replace spreadsheets, workarounds, and repetitive tasks with simple, reliable systems.
  • Give your team and your clients a smoother, more consistent experience.

Ongoing Advisory

  • Clarity Hour for questions, decisions, and second opinions.
  • Systems Review to identify opportunities, risks, and practical next steps.
  • Fractional Technology Advisor for ongoing guidance as your business grows.

What I bring to the table:

Broader Perspective

Experience across multiple industries makes it easier to see opportunities, constraints, and connections that are difficult to recognize from inside the business.

Pattern Recognition

Years of solving similar challenges across different organizations makes familiar patterns easier to recognize—and faster to solve.

Systems Thinking

Understanding how people, processes, data, and technology work together leads to better decisions and more effective solutions.

Clear Communication

Complex technology translated into practical business decisions, without jargon or unnecessary complexity.

Carolyn Delaney, Technology Advisor

For more than 35 years, I've used technology to solve operational problems across manufacturing, finance, healthcare, customer service, publishing, and nonprofit organizations.

Working across industries taught me that while every business is different, the patterns behind many technology and operational challenges are remarkably similar. That's where experience matters.

Today I apply the same approach as founder of Journey Magazine, where publishing, operations, AI, automation, reporting, and digital systems all work together to run the business every day.

I don't represent software vendors or earn referral commissions. My role is to provide an independent perspective that helps you make technology decisions with clarity and confidence.

A Fun Fact: I was the first female in my 6th grade chess club, and took home the trophy that year.

Clarity. Systems. Traction.
